ECHL teams loan players, and can have different players from different NHL clubs typically

We are almost into December and they still have a use for him in their system, so they think.

By no means do I think it's a smart idea to keep him in the fold when they could have him playing 60 games and playoffs with a CHL team, but obviously the Canadiens or McNiven/Agent feel this is what's best for him, and I just don't see why he comes back now.

Niemi can easily be waived again once Montoya is healthy, no brainer there... and goalies like McNiven or others can be loaned to other ECHL or AHL teams to help get them minutes when teams run into injuries.

He won't be coming back folks.

I was giving DD the benefit of the doubt.

He's clearly 'lost it' then by passing on at least 3 or 4 goaltenders that could have clearly helped the team.....one of which he already had (Christian Propp).

Something smells really bad then, doesn't it?

....really bad.

Makes no sense at all.
