Will be a nice addition, but didn't Josh Brown say he had a high ankle sprain, if so how long will he be out?

As much as I wanted to see whether or not the Rangers were contenders or pretenders before making a major deal, I like this acquisition. The Rangers get a top-10 scorer for what I would consider fair compensation. It's hard to part with those 2nds but a guy like this is going to come at a price, and at least it ain't Damiani.....and Ranger fans will get to see him in blue, white and red for more than just a half season as long as he stays healthy - touch wood.

Hopefully Sherwood is indeed good to go and gets back on at least his 2016-7 form asap; he should be a great addition. Still, I can't help but be a touch worried & skeptical recalling the time 'Doc' Hunter cleared Paxton Leroux to play for Murray ... and Paxton lasted only a few minutes

Seemed like we paid 'full retail' but I suppose Sherwood 'only' cost us our lucky windfall from Merrick Rippon's change of heart about playing in the OHL.

I'm a little late to the party, BUT....

In Sherwood, you've got a good one.

In his rookie season for the Knights, I think he was playing hurt. I was also thinking...Columbus signed him why?
Prior to him starting last season, I had this sinking feeling he would put up 30 goals.

Well...he did. Just too bad it was for Flint. ;)
