Mario Culina

I was very disappointed when we made the trade for him. I thought MM was putting a bandage on a gun shot wound. He has played great since arriving and this currently the best trade in the OHL this season imo.

Since the trade his numbers.

MM did a fantastic job at the deadline.

There wasn't a prime goalie available and it appears Culina will be a steady goalie. Richardson when he's on has also shown he can play.

What I love about these moves is that we brought a goalie, strong Dman in McEneny, big, stronger and scoring winger in Smith and Logan Brown and only gave up one prospect in Ladd, Signing Vukojevic will ease that loss. Damiani and Vallati were prime targets of other teams and they are still Rangers.

and he didn't empty our cupboard of draft picks...being able to keep two 2nd round picks for the 2018 draft is brilliant trading and crucial for the future
