Hello,

I'm pleased and proud to announce our newest moderator to the group.

To me moderating is not all about being active, and positive, but temperment is a big part of the job, and hence the selection of CharlieGirl to the group. She's active here and on the HockeyFuture forums.

I really don't want to mention this, but this appointment has absolutely nothing to do with the increase in traffic & tensions mainly due to the Ben Fanelli incident, it's something that was finalized during the first intermission of Friday night's game, and in the plan for a while now, similar to an addition to the Storm forum. I'm thinking that the forum can only benefit from another quality person being involved.

I'd ask for everyone to give CharlieGirl the same respect that Duct Tape and I are given, but seriously, I don't want her to quit after one week!!

I'm sure that this will only make a good forum even better, thanks for answering the call CharlieGirl!

I've moderated on other boards in the past, and the only reason I was willing to do this is that I think we have a very good board here. EV and DT have built a good place. And as long as we all remain respectful, even in disagreement, it can continue to be a place where we can enjoy discussing our Rangers and other goings on in the league.

Couldn’t have happened to a nicer person.

Back in 2002 I used to post on RangersRush. It took me a few (more than a few maybe?) posts to convince some of the regulars that I was really rather harmless.
Over the years since I have grown to know CharlieGirl, EV, DT and LoneRanger as people I can trust, confide in and have remained friends with.

You’ve got some great people over here at RangersRush and you have the best in CharlieGirl as one of your new moderators. Return the respect you will be given folks.

The people behind the scenes here at jrahockey.com are getting better every day. Let's give EV credit for this as jrahockey is his brainchild.

I enjoy checking in on all the boards from time to time and even dare to leave a few comments . And always enjoy chatting when you make your way to OS.

If I may suggest, it would be nice if some folks from the east would agree to set up boards here for their teams and make the whole experience here league wide.
