All tickets for the game will be only $10 (including GST) with all net proceeds from the event being donated to the Guelph Wish Fund For Children.

Seats will be held for Guelph Storm 2009-10 season ticket holders until Friday, March 12th. Season Ticket holders that purchase their current seats before the March 12th deadline will be entered into a draw to win tickets to the exclusive 20th Anniversary Reunion Dinner event. A total of four season ticket holders will be drawn to win two seats at the dinner.

The Anniversary Alumni Reunion will be held the entire weekend of June 11th -13th with three principle goals. The first is to bring players together in a reunion-type setting, the second is to give Storm fans the opportunity to see their favourite players again and the third is to raise money for local charities including Guelph Wish Fund for Children.

What a great line up. I heard this morning that ticket sales were very slow. Dissapointing to say the least. Where can you see this amount of talent in one rink and raise some money for a very good cause.. Come on people..let's support our team !!!!!!!!!!!

Just curious as to who all from the Storm Forum will be attending the Alumni game....hope to see everyone there, as I will be coming in from Michigan for it. The net proceeds from your $10 ticket goes to a great cause (Guelph Wish Fund for Children), as well as it being an incredible bargain for seeing such a rare event. Those of you that are not going to be away on vacation, let's get a great showing of support!

Does anyone know the schedule for this event? I understand that there will be a photo/autograph session prior to the 2:00 start, however I can't find anything pointing to a time that this will take place. We are bringing friends with us and are trying to schedule the day out. We'll be a couple of rows behind the benches.

Thanks for any feedback on projected timing of activities.

On the ohl home page there is an article on the alumni event. It says autographs are from 11:45 to 1 pm.
Hope that helps.

And the storm posted it up on their website..

http://www.guelphstorm.com/article/alumni-game-details

Which I take it to mean, for the public there will be an autograph session which I am sure will
be jammed... and then there is a game at 2pm. Skills competition before or after ? Not sure

The press release on the OHL website, made it sound to me as if there was stuff on from the 11th to the 13th.

http://www.ontariohockeyleague.com/stor ... 13-p142889

I assume that other than the autograph session and the game at 2pm, it is for the players or insiders only.

Not sure what the ticket sales are at this point.. Last I heard they were pretty light, which is too bad
because even just for a game and a chance to see some of the best from our past, this is a bargin and
should be a great time.

You can't get into the autograph session without a ticket to the game according to the article. I can't believe more people haven't bought tickets.
The fault for that could lie in the difficulty with getting info on the event. This should have been released weeks ago.

Its difficult to find out anything other than game time without really searching. This should be a great event. Too bad the local papers didn't take a bigger interest by posting all the events and related times.

Would someone be willing to DVR one of the Rogers' broadcasts of the game for me?.....Due to a death in the family, I won't be able to come there for it as previously planned.

Hi hockeydog..

Actually the local paper has been all over it really.. They ran a contest, so I think a big ad for that was in the paper
about 20 or 30 times. There has been 4 or 5 articles in the paper, on Saxon's blog. Last week there was a huge 2 page spread on it. Not sure what else the papers could do.

There are poster out around town at the local merchants for the last couple of weeks.

For me though, there needed to be more press from the storm early, along with more details on what is going on
for the public... unless all there is, is a autograph session before the game and a game at 2pm.

Maybe my expectations are too large.. I expected a big fan fair, for them to hold an auction after the game or
have a skills competition before or after the game, and auction of jerseys from the game or the skills competition..

Oh well.. Looking forward to it !!

For the autograph session, does anyone know if there will be photos, etc. available to get the players to sign? Or do you have to bring your own item for signature?

Good morning Hitek. My mistake about there being no advertising in the local paper. I only get the two weekly's and didn't take the main paper into consideration. We're looking forward to this afternoon's game and will see you there. Loads of talent on the ice and with limited body checking we should see some outstanding skills. This'll be fun.

As a relatively new Storm fan, I'd love to hear memories of some of the older players - especially the ones that I don't really know of if they didn't go on to the NHL. I'm looking forward to today... must be real special for some of you that have been around for most or all of the Storm's history here.

And stormtrackerguy, I should be able to.
