It was a lot of fun, just a couple of negatives for me...
1) Autograph session would have been much better if everybody could have filed through ALL the players in one line. There was no advantage to waiting outside the gates ahead of time with the way it was run. It would be easy enough if tables were set out around the concourse and everyone went in order: in one way, out the other.
2) It's okay that there were only 2 periods (would have dragged on otherwise), but did anybody know that until the announcements with a few minutes left in the second? Did the players even know, as the goalies for team blue switched halfway through the 2nd?

Doughty was awful - lol. But funny to watch him cherry picking and goofing around though. It was great to see the players (and officials) enjoying themselves. I was thinking afterwards that we should have got a "Go Storm Go" chant going just for the fun of it.

EDIT: I also was hoping for some sort of 20th anniversary program. I was surprised that there wasn't.

marcusd777 - well said. I agree 100% .. Well hopefully they will do a 25th reunion, and get it right. One series of tables , force people along one line, would have worked a lot better for sure. We came up 1230 and forget it, that was too late to
go through the line. A program would have been nice. Auction off the jerseys live, right off their backs after the game
would have been nice.

Storm 20th anniversary T-shirt, Cards, 20th anniversary game pucks, nice job Phil... That was well done.

I think the players really had a good time, and it was really nice to see some of the parents back in the building, with smiles ear to ear. Even in a kiss and giggle game, to see a line of Paille, McLean and O'Neil for a shift, was really special. To see Jeff O'Neil start on the blue line, worth a big smile, to watch Jeff's 2nd goal, a rocket to the top corner post and in, on
my player of the game (no offense Cally) Thomas McCollum, incredible... but to see the shootout with Mike Mclean on Tommy, make the move, jump over the stick, almost put it in the net, but in the end, only the post.. priceless !

I see Paul Surette already has the game etc up online..

Have a look at the 2nd period pictures, of Jeff O'Niel and Drew Doughty.. look at those faces and tell me if they
were having a good time !

Well done Paul, those are amazing.. For 100% sure I am ordering up a 20th anniversary book !!

Just absolutely amazing work again Paul....

Hopefully this was a test run for a 25th anniversary Alumni game and the kinks will be worked out.
I also wonder why with Callahan, Brown, Hajt, McCollum etc playing why wasn't the American Anthem played for them?

The Blue team would have scored more, but Dave Barr had them playing the trap :P :P

Great to see the guys back and having fun. It definitely makes you proud to be a fan of The Storm.

I am not sure if any of the current team were around and I know this was about the alumni but it would have been nice to see some of the current team rub shoulders with this group.

There were a few current Storm players there. I saw Latta, and Sisca. I heard Campbell was there looking like he'd been working out and put on a few pounds of muscle. I hope it's true. I also heard Carroll, Nigro and St Jacques were there.

Kudos to the Alumni. I just found out they all paid their own way ( not a real big deal since that made it a weekend get away for them/family) BUT they also paid almost $200 a piece to offset the cost of putting in the ice etc so the weekend could happen. For some it was pocket change for others I doubt it but there they were for Storm fans. Kudos to the guys and their families.
