BOSTON, MA - Boston Bruins General Manager Peter Chiarelli announced today that the club has signed forward Daniel Paille to a two-year contract extension. Per club policy, financial terms of the deal will not be disclosed.
The 26-year-old Paille is a veteran of 269 NHL games played across five professional seasons, splitting his time between the Buffalo Sabres and the Bruins. Last season, Paille scored 10 goals and nine assists for 19 points and 12 penalty minutes in 74 games with Boston after registering another two assists in two games with the Sabres. Paille was a key contributor on the Bruins penalty kill - which finished ranked third in the NHL - and led all Bruins forwards in shorthanded time on ice per game with an average of 1:59.
