Historically, it has been January 10th.

That is, unless January 10th falls on a weekend. If it falls on the Saturday, it is on January 9th. If it falls on the Sunday, it is on January 11th (as was the case in 2016).

Then again, in past years, they have had a separate trade deadline for OAs -- whether it'd be on the same day or the day before.

I would bank on it being on January 10th for EVERYONE.

So any Rumors Floating Around Possible Deadline Trades for our London Knights?

Heard thru the Vine that the Knights are Pretty Happy with the Roster But with the Team Having so
Many Draft Picks will they make a Move or Two?

What would it take to get Mitchel Stephens out of Saginaw?

I'd have to think this is a buyers market out there this year with the long list of names that should be available

Not sure what Saginaw would want for Stephens...But I was Wondering what it would to take to Get Brett Mckenzie from North Bay &
Kyle Capobianco from Sudbury?

Picked this up from the Electric Ice Forum (Owen Sound Attack):

Bold predictions. Here's what the reporter/blogger says about Jeremy Bracco:

Jeremy Bracco -Kitchener Rangers
Like Korostelev, is Bracco available? Will the Rangers rebuild? I've seen a lot of chatter about those very questions of late and I've done a lot of thinking about it. I do think Kitchener ends up dealing Bracco. The thing is, I think they could deal Bracco and still be competitive in the West, while also building for the future. No doubt, that the big players like London, Windsor, Hamilton, SSM, or even a team like Oshawa, would be all over Bracco. His offensive ability is truly remarkable (even if his play without the puck could still use work). London has so many assets at their disposal, I see them being the front runners. And I think they could use him the most, giving them the talented playmaker that they lost when Mitch Marner didn't return this year.

Prediction: Bracco goes to London in exchange for Liam Foudy, and 2nds in 2018, and 2019.

Hmm....we would lose a chunk of our future in Foudy. And, 2nd round picks change hands like they are going out of style.

Worth the gamble? I think it is.

Not for me it isn't. That's too steep of a price for a guy who plays one way, even if he excels in playing that one way. I would take more offense it were available most definitely but other areas need work too. Martenet needs to go, he's just flat out horrible. Putting him together with Mattinen is an unthinkable nightmare. Toss him to the East for another D OA who can actually skate and play his position.

Foudy alone is too valuable for me to give up unless we can get a package including a d man to replace martenet comes back, let alone the draft picks. I'd be more in the market for an Austin Watson kind of player, PP/PK, solid 2 way guy who does whatever it takes. Stephens is high on my radar, he's a warrior. Played with a broken foot in the first round of the playoffs last year if memory serves me. https://www.nhl.com/lightning/news/setb ... n/c-888791

This is the guy you want IMO. There is no doubt he'll be available

Stephens would be great, but I doubt we could get him without giving up Foudy or Thomas.

Bracco, on the other hand, I think we should be able to get without giving up either one....and I certainly hope we wouldn't give up either one to get Bracco!!!

Thomas should be pretty well untouchable IMO. 7th in the league in faceoffs in his draft year, very strong 2 ways. Hard to find guys like these. He's somewhere in the Tierney/Dvorak range

Fair enough. I'm thinking...with Mark's pull with the Knights....

It will be interesting to see if/when/where Stephens goes. Since he has made Team Canada, any deal involving he or any other of his national teammates...can't be announced until after the tournament.

Then again, that means nothing. Rumours will still fly about. And, the odd person will say, "This is a done deal -- it just can't be announced."

I have only request. He HAS to wear #17. [wink]

I Know some People aren't Big on Bracco But if we can Get Him without Paying a Kings Ransom I could Live with it... Still think we need to add a Dman But I Really Doubt we can Unload Martinet.
