2nd round picks in 2023, 2024 and conditional 2nd rounder in 2025.

Wow. To put it in perspective, the 2025 pick will be used to draft a player who is currently 7 years old.

Oh right, didn't take OA into consideration.

Any 19 year old d men floating around the AHL that aren't getting ice time?

By the way, here's an update of what London has left in the cupboard as of right now. This is just my own findings so I'm sure there's an error or two

2017 SBY 3rd OTT con 4th 4th OS con 5th 5th SBY 6th WSR 7th 7th 8th SBY 9th 10th Ham 10th 11th 12th 13th 14th 15th

2018 SBY 2nd SBY 4th 5th 6th OS 7th Con 7th 8th 9th 10th 11th 12th 13th 14th 15th

2019 OSH con 2nd 3rd 4th 5th 6th 7th 8th 9th 10th 11th 12th 13th 14th 15th Ott 15th con Ham 15th con

2020 2nd Osh 2nd con 3rd 4th 5th WSR 6th 6th 7th 8th 9th 10th 11th 12th 13th 14th 15th

2021 4th 5th 6th 7th 8th 9th 10th 11th 12th 13th 14th

We've also traded our own 3rd round pick in 2024, which is conditional probably on Vande Sompel playing an OA year, which ain't gonna happen. the 3rd round pick in 2021 is likely dependent on Stephens playing an OA year, which again, ain't happening.

in the past 24 hours:

Traded 7 2nd round picks, 6 3rd round picks

Not a lot of 2nd left up there, worth mentioning as well that the ones we do have are pretty well all conditional but i am unaware of what the conditions are surrounding them. Guessing the SBY & OSH picks are conditional on Valentini and Henderson playing OA years? Maybe if SBY makes it x rounds of playoffs in the Yak deal?

Nor did I -- until GH mentioned he was an OA. [wink]

Any Players you think might Be a Good Fit KnightHawk?

Sure. I think Ryan Merkley would be a good fit.

[wink]

(Yeah...keep dreaming, KnightHawk.)

All kidding aside:

Still holding out that Nicholas Caamano (Flint) becomes available.

You had mentioned Kyle Capobianco, and I think he would be a good fit on D.

As well, on Flint, how about Fedor Gordeev on D? '99 birth, and he is 6 foot 6.

Just so you know, he is NOT an import. He was drafted through the OHL draft.

I think we only have 1 player card left. I had heard (don't know how it all works) that we only had 4 cards left after we had signed Emmanuel Vella to a contract.

Can Gordeev play hockey? we have had some rather large d men in the past, the very recent past, who could not. Any reason to believe Flint moves a 99? Seems like they'd want to hold onto a guy like that.

Regarding cards, I've previously understood that any players called up during the world juniors to fill voided roster spots do not count against cards. Would a guy like Riley Coome count as a card at this point ?

Wondering if they have the room left to get a package of a F and D from somewhere like Flint.

Good point. He was one of the pawns in the deal that brought Will Bitten to Hamilton.

From what I understand, players have to play a minimum of 10 games. To play any more, they have to be signed to a player card.
With regards to playing during the World Juniors, that's the impression I get, too. Games played do not count towards the minimum games played.
